Health Insurance

Requirements for Students

All traditional undergraduate students are required to have health insurance while a student at Indiana Tech.

Athletes (both traditional undergraduate and CPS, including Graduates) are required to have health insurance and show proof of health insurance to the athletic trainers annually before participation in team practices or games.

CPS Students (Undergraduate and Graduate) who are not athletes are encouraged, but not required, to have health insurance while a student.

Options for International Students

International Students may choose to get insurance through one of these companies. If selected, the entire enrollment process is done by the student on an individual basis and paid directly to the insurance company. These cannot be billed through the school.

  • IMGlobal – Student Health Advantage Plan
    • International traditional undergraduate students may choose this instead of the Student Health Insurance.
  • International Student Health Insurance – Student Health Advantage
    • International traditional undergraduate students may choose this instead of the Student Health Insurance.
  • ISO Insurance
    • International traditional undergraduate students may choose the ISO Secure or Compass PPO plan through ISO instead of the Student Health Insurance.
    • The Silver plan (or anything lower) is not considered acceptable for Indiana Tech standards.
    • This plan is also available for OPT / Graduate International Students.

Please be sure to check your health insurance plan to ensure that these urgent care/hospital facilities are covered by your plan.
